Remember that during the 1700’s Revolution the Colonies were about 1/3 - 1/3 - 1/3 .
I’m not so sure. Read the war histories and the Patriot militias turned out in much larger numbers than the Tories. The FF were astute statesmen, they wouldn’t challenge the greatest military power of the time with only one third support from the people.
