Back when we lived in NM, on a small ranch, I had a pet goat.
It is amazing how they can bond with you. She died as a result of a dog attack, a Pitt Bull stray and some other dogs chewed her up bad and I had to put her to sleep.

A few days later the Pitt came back and I put it to sleep with a 1911.
