Violent threats against lawmakers have Congress on edge

Rep. G.K. Butterfield was proud to be in Congress. Some years ago, the veteran Democrat installed a vanity message on his congressional license plate, broadcasting the district he represents: North Carolina 1.

In recent years, the number of menacing threats against sitting members of Congress has ballooned, forcing the Capitol Police to launch thousands of investigations; prompting a flood of new funding for lawmaker security back home and in Washington; and impelling lawmakers to take remarkable precautions to ensure they don’t become the next target of political violence.

The DC criminals have been stealing from the average American citizens for decades by creating huge pools of money through bogus legislation and way too many of them have become millionaires in that process. They aren’t politicians for the people, they are intrenched criminals, most of whom are LAWYERS. Inadvertently Trump has exposed them as well as the intrenched bureaucrats and the federal agencies that are complicit in their never ending theft of America, now to the tune of a $30 trillion deficit forced onto average Americans to foot the bill. Conclusion; the DC criminal cabal has every right to be scared, they earned it.

Setting up patriots to be the targets of violence by ostracizing and separating them from “normal” Americans has put targets on such patriots that unbalanced people such as the Scalise baseball shooting incident felon and many threats against President Trump the Secret Service thwarted.

The politicians and media personalities who condone and encourage the threats to patriots are encouraging violence.

A distinction without a difference. The keyword is republic. A republic is one in which the government serves at the will of the people. In our case, our constitution is a sort of social contract restraining government. Republic is the most important operative word here.

A representative republic could pass any law at will, even onerous ones.
Our representatives, in a Constitutional Republic, are constrained by a Constitution.
