I'm just thinking long range here about what might happen if the "great reset" actually leads to a great collapse? If Americans living in the big cities are at each others' throats today, with all systems functioning, what will happen if those civilizational foundations are completely removed?
Government can "print" from the thin-air as much digital EBT money as they desire, but they cannot magically print food, clean water, electricity, gasoline, diesel, home eating oil etc. and distribute it to cities.
The capital city of Mississippi can't provide safe drinking water to its population. This is just a pin-prick compared to what might be around the corner. Safe water for cities doesn't "just happen," much as we take it for granted. Is Jackson a harbinger of the future, or a rare outlier?
There are words in English like “hunger”, “starving”, etc...but we have to make up and use stupid phrases like “food security” and “food deserts”. Anyway, the definition of “food security” is so broad that anyone on any day can be included in the statistic which proves the term nothing but wokist propaganda.
This is why I buy from Patriot supply. Emergency food storage that lasts for 25 years. I do not trust the Biden occupation at all. I would not put it by these domestic enemies to deliberately cause a food shortage just to make the population bow to them.
All of the “sale” prices at the local Safeway are now higher than the regular prices just a few months ago.
Our food problem has nothing to do with Ukraine. Until Americans can see that this Regime we have keeps that war going in Ukraine to use it at a reason for their deliberate destructive acts and collapse they are creating while setting up their Liberal World Order, we are doomed.
I am so screwed
RomanSoldier19 :"According to a new Harris Poll commissioned by Bayer, a majority of Americans are concerned about food shortages (71%) and "food deserts,"
or regions of the country where people have limited access to nutritious and affordable food (69%).
The poll of 2,010 adults, conducted in June of this year, was commissioned in an effort to chart the sentiment of Americans on food security at this historic time."
(My comment): 40 million chickens (broilers) culled in California due the infectious avian flu (HPAI)
Three additional infections recently found in several of the mid-west States, allegedly spread by migrating wild fowl
Many fertilizer producer countries have ended fertilizer production due to the high price of natural gas; many of which have embargoed what supplies they already have on hand
This is the third consecutive year of 'La Lina' climate which results in drought in many areas, and flooding in other geographic areas,
and is expected to continue until the end of this year.
China is experimenting with 'cloud seeding' in drought stricken areas, and yet flooding occurring in other areas of China
Ukraine is shipping grains to many third-world countries in order to offset anticipated famine (especially Yemen, Pakistan, and Somalia)
For months now, the concern in some places has been how to prepare food when electricity and fuel are too expensive to use the stove. So, in addition to stocking up on non-perishables, make sure you have at least 3 methods to cook with. I would go with regular stove, wood stove, and solar oven, but choose what works best for you. By having methods that each use a different fuel source, you’re less likely to find yourself without.
The dry cobs from corn make a good firewood substitute, if you’re in an area where firewood is scarce.
I'm betting they thought we'd fold before now...
Parts of the world will go hungry in this latest scenario - based on the stupid 'green energy' crap pushed by 'elites' - but here in the US, at worst - we'll do without some of our favorites - but no one will go hungry.
