🇺🇸 As an Army and Marine “lifer”, (and more), I cannot see or comprehend how a person who claims to be former Navy, could ever believe a counter offensive against an entrenched Russian opponent, would be over in a week.
As well, the tactical phases, and phased area objectives aren’t even known.
As one who reads, writes, and understands Russian (and its fundamentally close and older brother - Ukrainian), I have not heard or read any information from any source, which has disclosed any bit of this information. The OPSEC on this is clearly being held close.
I don’t even know any lifelong civilian’s who believe UA’s counter offensive would be over in less than 3 months.
At a recent dinner with several others, one of my civilian friends from church stated it would be fundamentally foolish for anyone to believe UA’s counter offensive could be over in less than 3 months against a “dug in” Russian opponent, and didn’t believe it at all tactically reasonable to expect such. Then all were in agreement, only voicing and believing it would more likely take six months to a year.
I was the only servicember there, and have significant strategic, theater, and tactical planning experience, and these non-veteran civilians were absolutely correct, even if they don’t know all the reasons why.
Only a non-military mind, and non-critical thinking, politically motivated mind could even foolishly believe a UA fight to take back what Russia has taken, would be over in days.
That is just plain stupid, juvenile, and more a leftist type mindset, which then mocks their own fake projected “straw man” 🇺🇸
