I suspect, having listened to people where I live talk, that many are getting fed up with the religious right seemingly dictating our laws nowadays. If they don’t like a book they demand it be removed from a school or a library. I will NOT support this kind of fanatical censorship...from either side.
The more the far right wing of the Republican party tries to control legislatures and by inference the people, the less support they will gain or maintain.
And if those voters want to sit out an election because the candidates do say or do exactly as the far right or ultra religious conservatives wants...no big loss in my opinion.
As of this point in time I am not going to donate any more money to the Republican party until they stat acting like they want to win and that they will tell the Qanon and proud boys section to stfu.
Democrats can win races by pointing out how our side has passed all these trigger laws and seemingly done so without really consulting the voters in their states. So I will not be surprised in the least if the Democrats win more seats on the national level and the state level.
As much as I hate to admit, you are absolutely correct! Many on here will be very surprised this November and will simply chalk it up to “voter fraud”! Yes, voter fraud happens, but the majority of people see abortion and gay marriage as rights people should have and we as a party need to adapt to that.
I would disagree that you not donate time or money to Republicans. We cannot let Soros and his ilk control us any more than they do. While I simply want to fire up our base, I think you should re-think helping the other side by sitting this one out!
The prevention of a one world government is more important than any internal struggle we have in the party!
What the heck...newb!!!
