President Donald Trump's attorneys filed a new motion Wednesday, renewing calls for a special master to review documents seized in a search of his residence, which they say they will eventually argue was unconstitutional.
"Left unchecked, the DOJ will impugn, leak, and publicize selective aspects of their investigation with no recourse for Movant but to somehow trust the self-restraint of currently unchecked investigators," the lawyers' latest filing Wednesday read.
The motion used the "gratuitous" release of photos of the Mar-a-Lago search as proof the Department of Justice cannot be trusted with the handling of the documents seized from Trump's home.

Would I would like to know is why this wasn’t done the first day, why is attorneys still around with their thumbs up their a55 instead of doing something.
They were holding hearings on it and the DOJ was supposed to wait. But the DOJ went through this stuff so fast because they wanted to make sure nobody could stop them.
It is the same DOJ that spent a few weeks to think about whether there should be a search warrant despite the so-called emergency nature of the search warrant. And the FBI who sat on its ass for 3 days before it actually executed the search warrant. And way back in June where the FBI had already been at Mar-A-Lago and had gone through the boxes and would have seen at least that some of it was classified. They were in no hurry then either.
Are these lawyers complete idiots?

🇺🇸 I am no lawyer, and may be wrong, but this modern generation of lawyers seems truly hopelessly ignorant, and more likely to repeatedly and wrongly cede unlawful authority to leftist lawfare SOP’s, which has been near universally entrenched in not only international law, but within the US legal system for a Century.
In international law (and The Law of the Sea), when country A responds and recognizes the right of country B’s court and suit, by default country A relinquish’s it’s right to “sovereign immunity”.
What we are seeing now is ultimately the same exact principle but much worse.
What has happened to President Trump is blatantly and redundantly Unconstitutional, and judiciously/procedurally unlawful across the board, not only by well defined Constitutional language and protections and exercise, but by numerous court challenges rehashing the same similar efforts over the years.
This has never happened in American History, because it is simply unlawful and lawless.
By Trump’s legal team simply requesting a “Special Master”, they are by legal default WRONGLY acknowledging the highly unlawful and Unconstitutional actions taken by a shameless hard left politicised totalitarian and rogue actor’s as being permissible if the lawless rogue actors can substantiate/justify their unlawfullness.
Only a fool would believe they won’t act to commit more fraud, which to this day they have never truly been penalized for carrying out.
*As well, it wrongly places a lower court in the position of determining what has already been adjudicated multiple times in American History, and at the highest courts in the land, lowering the bar and motivating increased future leftist unlawful challenges through the use of lower rogue courts.

At this point, they could literally give 100% percent of President Trump’s docs back, and still retain 100% percent of his docs, as they have now stolen them digitally, and can now focus on challenging and destroying whatever Trumps team may have been holding back for the right time.
For a “Special Master” to be appointed is simply a new degraded permissive default, that Trump has accepted and ceded to unlawfully obtained and stolen/digital records
A “special master” will now legally insulate the highly unlawful and treasonous actors and actions from not this aspect “On It’s Face”.

The argument is no longer about challenging the highly unlawful and unconstitutional actions taken against a citizen and president, and is now - “well, let’s talk about and adjudicate specific documents”.

The point of unlawfull seizure and possession, and violation of multiple US Constitutional Amendments and High Court Rulings is therefore in practice, and every legal argument “Moot”, as it is Trump’s legal team itself, which has by court request, saught a “special master” to review “DOCUMENTS” rather than protect the Office of POTUS, and fundame talk American Constitutional rights.
The concept of “special master” reduces the argument to one of who is allowed to see and have what documents, when the entire act was egregiously unlawful on its face.
His legal team should have stayed the course of his Constitutional POTUS authority, and as a citizen, and acted to defend his Constitutionally protected presidential authority.
Again, requesting “Special Master” forever into the future will now degrade every Conservative POTUS’s Constitutional authority and rights, and establishes a precedent every leftist government thug, and now Sovereign Secret Police raid arguments won’t haandve to be seen as unlawful.

Why does it seem the leftists are resistant to the idea? I mean if this secures the legality of the unconstitutional search and seizure, shouldnt they be looking to advocate for it? Especially since theyve already gone through them.
I would like to see a “Master Call” also. Somebody we can trust calling the shots. The DOJ isn’t exactly a tower of truth and credibility.
