There are three cases currently pending in the NY Federal District Courts challenging Houchel’s war on law abiding gun owners. Two of the cases have been assigned to judges that Trump appointed, and third has been assigned to Bushie judge.

I get that they probably can restrict carry in public buildings etc. but I seriously doubt SCOTUS is going to allow restriction on a public street or in all parks. Between Times Square and Central Park that is a huge area of Manhattan.
