But for towing, hauling, vacations or longer range commutes I don’t think we have the technology or charging infrastructure for that yet.

Towing: Significant range reduction and infrastructure concerns.
Vacations: 200 miles range on 20 minute charge gives an east 4-500 miles per day. Who really wants to travel more than that everyday on vacation.
Long range commutes: How long? 50 miles one way? Tha would be about 30 kwhrs RT. About 4 hours of charging at home with a plug-in or less than 2 hours with a hard-wired charger.
