All Life Expectancy analysis projects causes to be perpetual.
If there is a war that kills 2 million young people, that will result in an LE computation of a huge number of life years lost, and that is presumed to happen every year by the math. It won’t happen every year, but the math has no way to know that, and it’s largely best if it doesn’t try to know that.
That would lead to people whimsically deciding what will be so in the future with zero evidence of it. In contrast, things like heart disease, cancer and yes, Covid, show no signs of a cure arriving any time soon.
So yes, the correct projection is that it WILL happen every year in the future. For heart disease, for cancer, for Covid. Years are taken from the young.
It’s right up there with the unprovable assertion that the “vaccines” reduce the severity of “COVID”, or reduce “COVID” hospitalizations and/or deaths. I could as easily assert that if you get “COVID”, and wear brown socks, you will have less severe “COVID” than those who don’t wear brown socks.
