A Ballarat woman who was charged with inciting others to breach a lockdown has had her case thrown out of court.

Zoe Buhler was arrested in her Ballarat home in September 2020 while pregnant.

The mother of three livestreamed her arrest showing police handcuffing her in a video that later went viral and sparked concerns from the Australian Human Rights Commission...

In a statement Victoria Police said they withdrew the single charge following an assessment of the case, determining it was "not in the public interest to continue with the prosecution".

Ms Buhler, now 30 years old, said she was relieved but had 'no regrets' outside the court this morning.

Two-year legal battle

"I think it's disgusting our rights and freedoms were taken away. I've pretty much felt that way the whole time," Ms. Buhler said...

Will government officials like Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews ever be held responsible for the outrages of the COVID lockdowns and vaccine mandates?

Fascist thugs really hate that when the trumped up charges are thrown out ... but then, when things die down there will be pay back.

Not as long as the public has overwhelmingly delivered their severed testicles in a box to the government.

I lived in Oz for 25 years, and in all that time, only one of the friends I made over there was against the mandate. I cannot believe how the vast majority of people there were not only perfectly fine with having their freedom crushed, but they also smugly belittled anyone who did not go along with the mandates.

I remember her case. Saw the video. She was supposed to have a scheduled sonogram that day, when the cops showed up and arrested her in front of her husband and kids. F-ing bastards. And all she’d done was post online about a rally that was being held. In her post, she even stated that she probably wouldn’t be able to make it, but encouraged others to go.

"...but then, when things die down there will be pay back."

Her arrest was one of many that went on over stupid things. The cops were relentless in their stupidity and aggressiveness. I watched a lot of the videos via Avi Yemini, who was with Rebel News at the time. Not sure he's still with them, but his videos and reporting were spot-on. He had his own problems with the cops, who repeatedly chose to ignore his press credentials, and treated him like shit every time he showed up to report on a rally. They even showed up at his doorstep late one night, and he videoed the interaction. It was simply an attempt to intimidate him.

Didn't any of these cops think at the time, that at some point in the future, their obnoxious behavior would come back to haunt them? How could they think that they would ever be treated with respect again by the same people they harassed, taunted, accosted, and restrained all those months? I hope they get 10 times the treatment that they doled out to all those innocent people.
