Without any serviceable bridges across the Dnieper, or the Inhulets, Ukraine reclaiming the west bank around Kherson is expected. Getting to the other side around Nova Kakhovka is much more problematic.
Putin screwed up big time.
With all of the bridges gone, his troops have been bisected by the Inhulets and are trapped.
His best troops in the region are cutoff west of the river.
His worst troops are cutoff east of the river.
The Ukrainian breakthrough last night to the east of the river against Putin’s worst troops is why the Russian leadership and their Ukrainian collaborators are evacuating Nova Kakhovka and retreating to Crimea in a panic.
