The bat lady is actually a spooky figure. She is a high ranking Dr in charge of the bat virus research at Wuhan and I believe a member of the CCP. If you had to pick one Chinese most responsible for creating COVID, it would probably be her.

She studied in France and has been to the US multiple times (last time she was at UC Berkley in June 2018 with her presentation: “From SARS to SADS: predict of emerging infectious diseases. US-China Workshop on Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution of Infectious Diseases”.
