Republican worries of a midterm flop are growing heading into the critical post-Labor Day campaign season, with analysts who had previously predicted massive GOP gains shifting their forecasts toward Democrats.
Rick Tyler, a Republican strategist and analyst, said the environment looks “not even close” to a red wave election year. “The enthusiasm is just not there,” Tyler said. “Last time Republicans had a good year, they were six points ahead in the generic poll. Now we’re barely two points ahead. So it’s definitely not going to happen.”

Yeah because the democrats run such great candidates. /s
“Rick Tyler”
There you go.
Correct. But the Democrat base if school groomers, pedos and other criminals is still solid.
Tons of leftist propaganda. Go vote and destroy these democrats.
Never, ever get complacent.
This is aggravation for me constantly, that hardly any attention is even paid to “mid-term” elections, much less taking it for granted.
We need to get real and realize the truth - half of the country is America-hating commie traitors who are true believers. It’s not just about political officials. Some of you in “red” areas may think it’s all cut and dry, but those of us long raised and residing in “blue” areas know it is not.
That’s nice but Michigan, pennsyvania, Ohio, Arizona and Georgia are where the competition is happening.
It’s the Shill!!!
“Mitch, Kevin, and Ronna want to lose.”
It certainly appears that way. They made a very stupid decision not to run on a new “Contract for America” telling the country specifically what they will do to change course if the American people put them in the majority.
From what I’ve observed the Republican platform for 2022 is:
1) Joe is doing a bad job as president
2) We will hold some hearings if put in charge of Congress
Nothing about fixing the border, nothing about slashing spending, nothing about preventing us from getting into a nuclear war with Russia, nothing about passing legislation to return to energy independence, nothing about reigning in the judiciary and returning to a one tier justice system.
In essence, the Republicans are running on a platform of “business as usual”. We’ll give some meat to the voter base in the form of meaningless hearings that go nowhere while we continue to support the leviathan state.
Whistling past the graveyard 😁
If democrats weren’t in serious talks of getting rid of the filibuster, I’d agree with you. However, they get two senate seats and keep the house, it’s going to be pure hell. I understand you want all the cookies but that’s not how it works. We need to win at least one house in congress.
Rick Tyler: “In February 2016, after leaving the Cruz campaign, Tyler signed on as a commentator with MSNBC. He also signed on as an on-air host with Sirius XM Radio’s POTUS channel, where he agreed to work as a regular fill-in host providing conservative commentary, in October 2016.”

Correct that they don't. What the D's are quite good at though, is stirring up their crazies and getting them to the polls.
They did in March April. Until June in fact. Then all hell broke lose.
Wouldn’t believe polls. Only way communist win is by cheating.
It’s the difference between having the john Lewis voting act passed, expanding the Supreme Court, and adding DC and Puerto Rico as states. We are two democrat senate seats away from that. I don’t care if republicans just do as always, nothing. I’d prefer that.
Push me, pull me concern trolls our in force.
I respect skepticism but cynicism is just defeatist. To wit:
Critic: The GOP and Dems are the same party. People need to realize it. The candidates are the same with different jerseys on. Until the other 2/3 of the electorate realizes it, nothing will change.
Response: Ok, what if we nominate different candidates who espouse America Ideas?
Critic: those candidates can’t win, they suck. The lousy candidate will lose. NEVER underestimate the GOP’s ability to screw things up!!
The skeptic: the GOPe will sabotage the election rather than let outsider candidates win.
One I can see, the other is just silly.
They are greasing the skids for the 2022 STEAL.
If I had to speculate, pure gas lighting so the “tailored” election results are accepted easier.
“Mitch, Kevin, and Ronna want to lose.”
You are an idiot if you think that. Mitch is using his PAC to flood money into close races to bail out candidates Trump endorsed like JD Vance.
Why would McConnell put $28 million in ads behind Vance if he wanted to lose?
