The stockbroker commutes on a filthy train to a well-appointed office with a view of blue sky and white buildings. Those silly global leaders see dangers proven by history and, for good or ill, depending on who you are, they take the routes they believe will be best for them and their people, same as the bricklayer or stockbroker. It’s all a matter of perspective.
