I still think this is all a con. Biden’s handlers know he doesn’t have the power to cancel student loans. Only Congress can do that.
But by making the announcement Biden looks compassionate, and he scores points with the yuppie class. Then when some federal judge strikes the whole thing down...oh, well. Let’s all move on now.
No judge can strike it down if it is not challenged.
