The Bush senior and junior were "moderately conservative." However, both were part of the old aristocracy which includes the left and the right. The old order of aristocracy is their first allegiance, not the good of the nation. It has always amazed me that George senior and his wife Barbara treated Bill Clinton like a son and spoke fondly of him. They knew he was a rapist.
Dieu et Mon Droit translated from French = "Right of the King." It is also on the coat of arms of the British Crown but translated slightly different to mean, "God and My Right." That is the attitude and thinking of our aristocracy.
