Pro-Kyiv volunteers are loyal to Dzhokhar Dudayev, the late Chechen leader who headed the republic’s drive for independence from Russia. BacK in Russia, the “Dudayev Chechens” got their butts kicked by the Chechens loyal to Russia. The Dudayev crew in Ukraine are getting the same treatment their older brothers got back in Chechna — they’re getting ground into pieces by steady intense artillery bombardment.
