We’re fogeys and dinosaurs. We have a censorious attitude towards drug use. Young people - they look at drugs the way we look at alcohol. Do I wish it were otherwise? Sure. But societal mores have changed, and not necessarily for the better.
Having said that, I’ve never been judgmental about drug use. I don’t view it as a moral defect. I think it’s a mistake. The problem with drugs is it can take over your mind and enslave you.
I don’t think these kids are bad people. They’re just young, dumb and all the rest.
