GOP leaders warn Arizona Senate candidate Blake Masters to raise more money โ€” or risk losing to Democrat Mark Kelly (see article one post up)

Republican leaders and megadonors are warning Arizona GOP Senate candidate Blake Masters to improve his fundraising or else be doomed in his bid to unseat Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly in November's election, according to people familiar with the matter.

Masters has received urgent private calls in recent weeks from GOP leaders like Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., the head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, these people explained. The NRSC is the official campaign arm for the Senate GOP, and has spent over $6 million taking on Masters' rival Kelly, according to data from the nonpartisan OpenSecrets.

Kelly's seat has long been considered a potential pickup opportunity for Republicans, as forecaster Cook Political Report labels the race a toss-up. Recent polling, however, suggests that Masters is falling behind. A Fox News poll taken in August shows Kelly leading Masters by 8 points, while an Arizona Republican pollster told NBC News that his own surveys showed Masters trailing Kelly by 10 points.

Longtime GOP megadonors, who want to help Masters overtake Kelly but have not heard from him since he won the party's primary, have inundated the Republican candidate with calls, these people explained.

Interesting enough, the Bush wing of the Republican party is now all voting Democratic. Bad news? They have a lot of money.

He did not actually change his position on abortion, he is using the tactic Charlie Kirk is recommending for our candidates, to bring out the EXTREME position the left has on abortion right up until birth, Masters is not exactly changing HIS position it is more of a word game!!

He just came out yesterday completely changing his position on abortion. What will he change next?

No, he did not. As was shown on an earlier thread, that was just MSNBC's lying spin on it. Just like the above article is more spin. The MSM propaganda machine is pulling out all the stops to demoralize Republican voters. Don't fall for it.

If you trust the polls. I think most of have learned not to take polls at face value as they are a mostly propaganda tool to demoralize the opposition and depress voter turnout. The poll that matters is at the ballot box.

Rush pointed out years ago that McConnell and the lead dem Senator (Reid, Schumer, whoever was in power) made backdoor deals that would ensure each other’s spot as leader, minority or majority. And, they of course do it with taxpayers’ money. They each get hundreds of millions of dollars to dispurse in elections as they see fit. A new Senator is guaranteed to get re-elected, or not, according to just how ‘loyal’ they are to McConnell / Schumer. This is how McConnell has remained in power for so long.

And yet another example of why they all cannot stand President Trump. No one can control him since he could, if he desired, fund all of his own campaign. That said, President Trump does raise campaign funds for himself and others. During his first campaign run he was able to use the Drive-By media due to their hatred of Trump. They initially followed him around everywhere, and he did not have to pay them. They eventually figured out just how much they were actually assisting him, but for quite some time it was so much fun to watch Trump point out their cameras, and tell the truth right to their faces / cameras. I thoroughly enjoyed when Trump would point out the cameras at the back of a large stadium, and describe them as they truly are, liars, fake, propagandists, etc.

If the base sits on their hands and keeps their wallets closed, the establishment calls the shots. 1 million people giving just $10 solves this issue.
