My guess is a lot of women go to nightclubs to be stared at, this policy sort of defeats the purpose of all the clothes women buy to go out in
This is so silly..
When male heads turned to follow me as I walked by, I knew the outfit was a hit.
I never worried about stares. When I was single, I knew they meant potential interest. You can engage in a respectful manner, dance with them to the end of the song, and then disengage politely so as to not hurt a gentleman’s feelings if you are not really interested. Good looking guys who can’t string together a sentence were not that good looking after two minutes. Average guys who were engaging became better looking after two minutes.
Only once did I stop dancing abruptly and leave someone on the floor. He was a crude pig.
Even after I met my future husband, we still went clubbing because I loved dancing. He wasn’t much of a dancer, but would swoop in if a young man either didn’t respect my engagement ring or my polite, “No, thank you. I’m taken.”
His stares would definitely raise the ire of these pink vest people; they were lethal.
