Influenza vaccine efficacy is a very complicated subject - suffice it to say the variances year to year, and within any given year among age bands and sexes, are so sharp, with many instances of negative efficacy (worse if you get the vaccine followed by flu than if unvaccinated) that mandates for doctors and nurses probably can’t survive.
