The same way he fires everyone else: "You're fired!". Said either in person or via phone, email, or tweet. That was, after all, his trademark line on the Apprentice. As head of the Executive branch, President Trump had broad discretion over who collects a federal paycheck and who does not.

You may be on to something there, given how Trump, like Fauci, has told Alex Jones to shut up and stop asking questions about Operation Warp Speed.
