she needs to realize that most of average Americans born without a silver spoon in their mouths MUST look at low cost education.....parents can't afford the private schools or the famous schools....

how many kids start out at the local community college....plenty....to save money...

Actually parents can’t even afford the instate public colleges either. They are now $15k/year tuition. That times 4 years of room and board (also $15k/yr) is $120k per child or for 4 kids (as I have) a half million dollars. Who can save up for that? Not many.

I always recommended community college to kids who couldn’t get scholarship. Get the basic subjects out of the way. Decide where you want to focus your career toward. Gives them a chance to push up their grade average and maybe get scholarship.
