I went to a state school, went a year, worked a year, took 6 years to graduate. One semester I took my books out of the library to study because we couldn’t afford to buy them with my wife in still in school. I also had jobs while in school and racked up just short of $10000 in student loans. My wife who went to school on scholarships and her dad working 6-day weeks and holidays didn’t incur any. Together we put our dream of owning a house on hold for three years while we paid off the loans. I don’t really feel like it’s my responsibility at 71 to pay off some ‘Gender Studies’ majors’ debts.

If I were a collage age person just getting pulled along by the MSM that 350.00 a year would grab me. I’d look at that puny figure and understand that even accounting for inflation SOMETHING changed. I don’t know when Mitch got out of school but inputting 350.00 for say 1962 into the cpi alculator gives us 3456.55 today. I wonder if that snark from NAZI will wake anybody up?

Mitch McConnell went to an inexpensive school, but some of us elected to go to schools that cost up to a quarter million dollars a year. It’s not fair we have to pay for that.

It became expensive when College Professors were unionized.

I retired from major University in Michigan. I saw the salaries (part of my job for cost reporting) of those professors who were only required to teach 1 or 2 classes a week. They were 6 figures, with bonuses and stipends on top of that salary.

Exactly. My grandparents house cost $3000. This a monthly mortgage or rent payment. Yes, I know it is higher in some places.

Biden using a government credit card with no money in the bank and the printing press are out of ink.

He has mastered stupidity early on in life.

Squaw just proved that once Big Government gets it’s snout in, it just raises the costs of everything it touches.

First government contracts, housing, medicine, grade school and now higher education.

I always recommended community college to kids who couldn’t get scholarship. Get the basic subjects out of the way. Decide where you want to focus your career toward. Gives them a chance to push up their grade average and maybe get scholarship.
