I don’t think Charles will be king long. It will be similar to Edward the 7th. Victoria died in 1901, Edward died in 1910.

Every Charles has been a putz as king. Charles I was such a jerk that he launched the English Civil War and got his head chopped off. His son Charles II, while popular, managed to sire 12 children out of wedlock, but no heir. His younger brother James II was such a jerk that he was run out of the country and replaced him with his son-in-law William of Orange and daughter Anne.

There is nothing to suggest a Charles III would even rise to the low standards of Charles II.
