According to you, no one would want to do business in the US because of it.
If you want to preserve property rights then we need a strong, prosperous middle class.
Not a few very rich people, lots of really poor people and very few in the middle.
The majority of people only tolerate Capitalism because it provides a higher standard of living for the people as compared to Socialism.
The minute it doesn’t it will be done away with.

The first person I talked to identified herself as "Barbie". The voice sounded rather bland and suspiciously machine-augmented in that I did not detect much of an accent, though the speech pattern and cadence and other characteristics identified "her" as off-shore. Barbie was unable to resolve my issue, so I asked to talk to her supervisor.
"Ken" came on the line.
I know the new hires were being paid much less then me as they are now hired thru a temp agency. I was hired directly and started in 2003 and retired in 2021.
At the company I retired from they started using a call center in India for chat. When that did not work out after a year due to language and tech abilities they were replaced by one in Poland where the pay rate is 1/4 the rate here.
I retired last Nov ‘21 before seeing if it is working out.
I do know there were many complaints for the last 2 years as we use to get things fixed usually in a day during the call but the new way was at least a day and all we were doing in the Help Desk was now forwarding tickets to other groups in India and other depts in the US where they sat till someone picked them up or not.
So many new groups and the tickets were being routed wrong that even the director was confused and she (from India) was one of those that created the new depts!
We would get a call asking about the status as you know they could not proceed in the business without the issue being fixed....
We became the not so helpful Help Desk.
