Because I’m retired and have time on my hands, I looked up the wonderful ‘revolutionary’ George Jackson. While doing time for an armed robbery of a gas station (a true revolutionary act) St. George murdered a guard. That’s why he was at San Quentin.
While trying to escape San Quentin, St. George took and killed five hostages (no doubt counter revolutionaries) and left their bodies in his cell. St. George was martyred as a result.
Yes, by all means dedicate a month to honor this man. We now have two St. Georges. St. George of Fentanyl and St. George of San Quentin.
