If I’m following the news correctly, the Russians are largely recruiting “cannon shooters”. The Ukrainians are actually DRAFTING cannon fodder to be “trained” for two weeks and then INVOLUNTARILY sent to spend their service time in trenches under heavy, continuous artillery fire.
Game near over.

Two weeks of Ukrainian training is one week more than the Russian separatist cannon fodder get before they are sent out in a 1960's Soviet tank.

Just my observation but it looks as if the Russians are beginning a push towards Odessa, while bringing pressure to the Kharkiv region as well. A north/south squeeze play. A breakthrough in the south is a game ender.
