Contemporary Russia’s relationship with international law is not simply a question of international relations. International law is SUPPOSED TO HAVE a privileged place in the Russian legal system.

Section four of article 15 of the 1993 Russian Constitution enshrines the supremacy of international treaties and agreements in case of a conflict with Russian domestic law.

But in recent years, this privileged position has been undermined BY PUTIN!!!.
