Steven Walker, Sarasota Herald-Tribune Tue, August 23, 2022 at 10:41 PM· Sarasota County School Board candidates Bridget Ziegler, Tim Enos and Robyn Marinelli each won their elections in a conservative sweep of the seats up for election in Tuesday's primary.

Republicans dominated election day voting numbers, outvoting Democrats 3 to 1, propelling the slate endorsed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to a strong lead with all precincts reporting. Despite trailing in campaign contributions in each of the three races, each candidate won by at least six percentage points.

When liberals lose, they start looking at how to change the voting system.

Paraphrasing from the story, Ziegler, Enos and Marinelli were opposed by three candidates who had the backing of the Sarasota County Democrat Party; two of these were also supported by the Sarasota teachers union.

And in Democrat diseased Broward county, incumbents won and raised taxes! This despite a grand jury recommending 5 board members be removed.

Not only that. The Dems lost a LOT of races in the past 3 months in FL, and only one Dem holds public office in the state. FL is red, and it wasn’t like this 8 years ago. Dems are still perplexed to this day on why Trump got more votes in blue Miami Dade county in 2020 than 2016.

I expect little to change as lawyers will come in and tell these new school board members it is “illegal” to undo what the leftist democrats put in place.

Lawfare is the democrat’s favorite weapon.

It makes me smile to think of how sad it must have made this liberal columnist to write this article.

We don't call the Sarasota Herald-Tribute "the SHT" for nothing.

Your antiquated legal theory didn’t work too well with the USSC Dobbs decision.

Caught this roundup at Hannity. Carville’s “nuts” must be out.
Isn’t it fun!!!! Maybe the normal people don’t want their kids indoctrinated with wokeness and early sexualization!

I was on twitter, there are a couple of threads there by the left and they are NOT HAPPY.

It had a LOT to do with Obama dancing around with Castro and socialists just before the 2016 election. Boy did that go over like a lead balloon.

I remember when Castro died shortly after, and the Cubans danced for three days. The media networks picked their way through Miami Dade doing their best to show what was going on and still not show the Trump signs and Obama hate signs.

Here in Pasco we have a horrid paper also. The Tampa Times used to be the St Pete Times, it is about as liberal a rag as you can find. They recommend judges by color, out and out. “This judge has less experience and recommendations, but she is black, and we need that” (paraphrased). You can’t get more racist than that.

I saw a headline the other day, they accused DeSantis of being powermad. When I first came to this area, every headline was how FL needs MORE TAXES.

Why do you think homosexuals who run naked in front of children out in public or during a drag queen story hour at a public library are not being arrested for any crime while the Catholic church is constantly assaulted with legal attacks for the same kinds of crimes?

This is called lawfare. The use of law to only attack one side. This concept is far from antiquated. In fact, it is a primary way modern day civil war is fought.

What does that have to do with democrat lawfare?

Try doing that crap in my community and see how fast you get locked up and charged.

Lawfare is happening in more and more places. President Trump’s home was raided, for instance, and is a prime example of lawfare.

It will come to your front door one day even if you think it will not, and yes, it is all connected even if you do not see or refuse to see the connection.
