I agree, except it would be a mistake for the RF to take all of Ukraine. The western Ukraine is more trouble than it’s worth. The Poles want Galicia, and the Romanians and Hungarians want pieces, too. That would leave a landlocked, neutral rump state. That’s a much better outcome IMHO.
BTW, the trolls and semi-senile elderly don’t care about the facts. Indeed, when I’ve gone to some trouble to point them out, they become angry. One twit told me that talking about battlefield details - e.g. what’s happening in various places on the front - is “pretentious”. I give them simple quizzes that would demonstrate that they actually know something about the conflict, but not one has answered my simple questions.
Russia does not want all of Ukraine
Only to demilitarize enough depth to stop the genocide vs the Russian-speaking population in eastern Ukraine.
Which Biden and London keep pushing west by sending long range weapons, many or most being used on civilian targets
Besides, Russia already paid off all Ukraines debts after the USSR break up. Who wants to inherit that black hole of debt and corruption growing every day…let the EU figure that out
