That's rich. Government heavy-handedness inspires liberty-loving citizens to buy more ARs, so the government reasons it needs to be even
more heavy-handed.
There's already a 10% federal excise tax on handguns and 11% on long guns. But it's applied at the wholesale level so it doesn't appear on your receipt.
Which Trump45/47 should look into repealing. Along with the 1986 Hughes Amendment and the 1968 GCA.
