My first thought was that it is so “Putinesque”, and although Dugin is always described as Putin’s “Mentor”, he has done some rather strange housecleaning lately. He definitely has become rather paranoid (out of necessity), or as the author said, “if they really are out to get you, then it really isn’t paranoia, is it?” Stalin certainly went through a similar phase when he decided that he couldn’t trust anyone, and even had their likeness removed from all photos, right after he murdered his closest confidants.
