It is not ideology.

Russia cannot allow NATO in Ukraine. It is less than 100 miles to fully 1/2 of Russia’s oil flow, which is at Volgograd from the east Donbas border. This is the choke point of Caspian output.

Neither side can believe the other so there can be no negotiated peace. The most likely end is a military coup replacing Zelinsky that makes peace and runs Ukraine for 10+years, during which time free elections are promised often.

Generous visa offers from the EU ensure there will be no long term Resistance to an essentially Ukrainian military govt. The young men with gumption will head west to make big money in Europe.

You’ve been promising a military coup for months now in Ukraine. How long should we plan on waiting? The fact is that is the last thing that will happen because that will cut off west aid. Without western aid Ukraine can’t defend itself against the Soros EU funded Russian war and genocide in Ukraine. Zelenisky will be gone at some point. But that will happen because Ukraine, unlike fascist Russia, is a mostly functioning democracy.
