It wasn’t Dixon’s comment; it was her retelling of what the people told her. Would you have Dixon not speak of what she has been told so that Newsweek readers won’t think she is insensitive? Now is not a time to speak meekly.

Dixon (and every GOP politician) should refrain from giving the Left ammunition. We are in a fight for the Republic. Let’s not help our opponents.

That doesn’t mean we have to be meek, or pull any punches! It does mean we have to be smart. One can make a strong argument against abortion without drifting off into “bonding” stories. Those sound bites can and will be used against you.

Instead talk about the innocent unborn child, and how he or she can feel the horrific pain of an abortion. That will hit home.

By the way, I have nothing against Dixon. I assume that she is a good and competent person. She’s just got to a little more careful. It’s not a level playing field out there.

If she is speaking to voters she can speak directly. She should understand the 95% of journalists are there to KILL her chances and just speaking to them is unsafe.
