Freaking fraud.
Maybe some Freepers with more recent military experience can enlighten me. This sentence of Crenshaw’s seems like BS to me.
“It’s not a question that it’s bad to have classified material in a non-SCIF environment, that’s a non-secret compartmental compartmentalized location, that is wrong, but there is ways to solve this issue. “
It implies that ALL classified information must be handled in a SCIF. In my military experience, that applied to only the most highly classified information. “Secret” or “Confidential” information was not required to be handled in a SCIF location, for example.
What Crenshaw seems to be trying to set up is the notion that if Trump had any level of classified information, it was required to be in a SCIF location. Thus making, well, a mountain out of a molehill, while trying to sound objective about Trump.
It has been over 10 years since I handled classified information. Have things changed this much?
