For individual transactions, while we still assume a dollar is a dollar and a euro is a euro we all know that a currency’s utility varies. Why, then, for analytical purposes do forecasters always assume it does not? Why do analysts never take this into account in their forecasts?What alternative?
The author seems to be a gold-bug.

Not really in two.
The Western Alliance is really only the EU, Five Eyes, Japan, and South Korea. Those are the nations that have sanctioned Russia.
The other side is the Shanghai Cooperation Organization core members.
Others, including most Islamic countries, India, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America are pretty much “non-aligned” and want nothing to do with conflict between the West and SCO. They have over half the world’s population and natural resources.

What do you expect? Those that you mention are the weakest of men, the sell-outs.
We have been taught that real men are misogynists and that masculinity is toxic. Many of us that know different are rapidly aging. It will take decades if not a century to rebuild this country. Our miltary is nuetered. I, personally, can hold no emotion over the corpse of a dead pig.
