As for the Gulf of Mexico, a mere 30 million acres is being set aside for wind turbines. Should be interesting when a Cat 5 meanders through. IIRC, that 30 million acres monstrosity will supply power for 11 million homes. Uh, I don't like that math at all. That's like 2.7 acres for each home. Yeah branDUHn that sounds real good.

Are people such as Al Gore and Greta Thunberg aware of this?

If I could get a turbine or solar farm sufficiently small enough, I’d plop one down on my acreage, but to generate any functional amount of electricity, you need an acre alone. Not worth it. Give me nuclear!

Green energy is dirty energy. Which is how the Greens get to push for more of it as the air etc. gets worse as we use more of it. It’s a self-feeding monster of destruction.

In case you missed it. That is the plan. To kill everyone but their slaves. They being the Elites. The fools and idiots don’t realize that they are digging their own graves, but they will. It is not the planet they hate but their fellow men and women. Whom they consider inferior.

There actually is a way to recycle fiberglass turbine blades.
It reduces them to oil and very little solids.
It is the same the same tech we Should be using in place of landfills.
It is called Thermal Depolymerization and articles on it are abundant.
There is some debate as to its profitability as an oil source.
But there can be no legitimate doubt as to its ability to reduce landfill while also generating a useful byproduct.
Of course the bent-nose guys would be very unhappy since they siphon off so much $$$$$ from the landfill industry.

Why do I get the feeling that WEF is planning to have a scarcity of food, water, energy etc so to eliminate the unnecessary population?
Or we Scrooge said “and reduce the surplus population”

Yup. I’ve posted a link about the method in the past. But, how many are actually being recycled?

This is what happens when mandating technology that is not economically viable on its own merits.
Slow down and let it mature, then we will know if it ever *can* be mature enough for large scale use.

Between the steel, copper, aluminum, and hundreds of tons of concrete necessary to build one turbine, it will take approximately 38 years of operations to offset the carbon necessary to build it. Interestingly, the expected life of one of these wind turbines is 20 years. So every single time we build one, the environment that these nut jobs tell us that they care about so much, suffers even more. We would be better off building coal plants.
