PS Edward Luce is descended from British nobility, an Oxbridgeman, and has stayed on the left side of the centre (the Guardian, FT) all his working life. Psychotic? Precisely what I think. Certainly he is lacking a sense of propriety, and a sense of proportion. His statements of late are so unhinged one has the duty to wonder if he has always shown irrational tendencies? Who knows, perhaps in his time such an unhinged leader was the perfect man to head the CIA.
