The problem is a Muslim or other grabbing the dagger from the Sikh and going on a killing spree. The presence of a weapon (not belonging to trained security personnel ) is itself a hazard.
Not to mention the Sikhs have their own terror movement (”Khalistan”). They blew up an Air India 747 jetliner in 1985.
