Here's what we need to do.
We need to sue the press for a dollar amount equal to what it costs us to collect intelligence for the benefit of the country - the intelligence that 'agents' are trading to the press FOR THEIR OWN BENEFIT.The information is paid for by all of us - and if it's going to be traded to the press for favorable coverage then we want the effers at the New York Times and Washington Post to "PAY FOR WHAT THEY'RE GETTING ON OUR DIME."
Maybe the FBI could give the press computers and newsprint in exchange for favorable coverage. Would that be a more obvious bribe? Would people finally 'catch on' to what was happening if 'supplies' were traded instead? Dumb move on their part. Defendants are usually the ones objecting. If they had joined in, it may have weighted the judge’s opinion toward releasing it.

Agree totally about the state’s responsibility. All I’m saying is that if Trump got involved in the motion officially, the judge might be more inclined to release the affidavit with very few redactions. If he doesn’t release it, we’ll never know what’s in it. So I think it’s s dumb move. And I’m not saying you personally would say the troll comment. It’s well known on here that anytime someone says the least critical thing about Trump, the attacks start.

I too have noticed that tendency regarding Trump criticism. When one cannot express their opinion about him without attracting the ire of the Trump supporters, regardless if the criticism is valid, then we really don’t have true freedom of expression. Questioning why someone acts the way they do or makes statements one might disagree with, then we have descended into tribalism.
And if one advocates for any form of violence against those with whom they disagree with then they will do so on their own. Most people will NOT support such actions nor should they and such actions should be roundly condemned.
I may not like how things are going in this country but I will NOT support any kind of violence against my fellow Americans.
