I disagree. If you fail to identify your opponent with negatives early, you’re finished.
Between democrats and Republicans themselves we’ve had the GOP candidates painted with negatives up and down.
Mastriano is an extremist, Oz isn’t from PA, Herschel Walker is crazy, and so on.
McConnel is allowing this on purpose.

I agree, McConnell knows damn well that even in a Presidential election cycle voters tune out over the summer. Polls at this point are worthless.
I believe McConell,is whining because people like me have stopped feeding the GOPe pigs at the trough with my hard earned dollars. They are starting to feel the pain.
