No! It hasn’t been foiled at all. Not even a little bit foiled. Thousands upon thousands are being ushered into our state/country every month.
This has been going on for decades. It is ruining our country. Someday, the uni-party will force through amnesty or some form of it and drown out our votes.
Not only that, but when they’re let in with promises to appear years down the road, we have to pay to educate them, medicate them, incarcerate them, house them. This raises homeowner, auto, business insurance rates, federal, state, county and municipal property taxes to add to strained infrastructure. Not to mention border enforcement, policing of our cities, immigration enforcement.
Just being in our country shifts voting lines because of representation. This is killing our country and watering down legal citizen voting demographics.

The point has been made and made and made. If the governor of Texas would only declare an INVASION as he should have months ago, he would have the power to circumvent the feral gubbamint and force illegals to cross back into Messy-co.
Those border agents should have been shown down by our Texas DPS. Abbott is part of the uniparty swamp in my opinion.

Absolutely not. Under federalism, states have the right to declare an invasion if/when the federal government abdicates it’s responsibilities to protect the border.
When a state declares an invasion, they enjoy enhanced enforcement capabilities.
I feel bad for these people coming to the border. Heck, if I were in their position, i’d likely do the same. This whole disaster lays squarely on those who want the votes and those who want the cheap labor, undercutting American workers.
These people showing up at the border are being exploited by the cartels, politicians and globalist elites.
That said, we cannot afford to take in millions upon millions of the world’s poor. It’s just unsustainable. The leftist and globalist pubs have been using the “11 million” illegals in our country since Ronald Reagan.
Last report, there are 40 million foreign born individuals in America as of 2021 I believe it was. This is NOT counting illegals. There are estimated 30 million illegal aliens living in this country under the radar.
Sanctuary policies have consequences and NYC is the greatest example. Perhaps Adams should talk to his governor about that pesky policy decision.

Abbot can't just "declare an invasion!" He needs to have backing of Texas legislature. Not exactly a walk in the park. And he'd have to name, specifically his proposed "enforcement capabilities." He already is building more wall - and the Feds opened up the gates(!) with impunity. All while the reining horse patrolmen are working at the unemployment office.
