Maybe you aren’t too good at staying on the subject. You want to talk about the rest? Post a thread about them.

Yep, we once had a Republican President that preached “Compassionate Conservatism”, he left office with a 22% approval rating, and we got 8 years of Obama for it.

Maybe it's because of their Euro background and manner of speaking but Musk's 'compassionate' comment indicates he may be a conservative in the mold of Ahnold Schwarzenegger.
He needs to buddy up with an actual conservative.

Is that why Tesla is raking in huge profits and fast increasing sales, even as the mostly ICE GM and Ford and Toyota continue to suffer falling sales and declining profits?
To: central_va
A massive $950 Billion Tesla market cap, higher than GM, Ford and Toyota combined puts a lie to our post.
To: SmokingJoe
I'll be generous and round up Tesla's annual EV sales to 1,000,000. That is about 6% of the market. EV's are to expensive and impractical for the people that buy cars that make an average salary. EVs are being pushed down our throats and idiots on the right, the ones that should know better, are going along with it. The "savant" is making bucks selling boutique virtue-mobiles but even he knows EVs WILL NEVER REPLACE THE ICE POWERED car.
Fascinating US Car Sales Statistics (Editor’s Choice)
- In 2021, the US car industry sold around 14.9 million light vehicle units.
- There were 3% more car sales in 2021 than in 2020. The first state where cumulative plug-in EV sales surpassed 1 million is California.
- US car sales dropped by 4.6% month-on-month in March 2022.
- There were sales of 14.46 million new-light vehicles in 2020.
- 7 in 10 new car buyers had incomes bigger than $75,000 in 2020.
- US sales of used light vehicles reached 39.3 million units in 2020.
- In 2021, Toyota was the leading car brand in the US in terms of sales.

They are making a huge mistake going all in ( woke management ) on EVs. Sell your big 3 stock now.

I'll be generous and round up Tesla's annual EV sales to 1,000,000. That is about 6% of the market. Except Tesla makes and sells over 70% of all EV’s sold in America. And they are a very young company as compared to GM and Ford.
EV’s are to expensive and impractical for the people that buy cars that make an average salary.
Is that why Tesla's are sold out with waiting lists stretching to over a year, despite Tesla being BY FAR the biggest EV seller in America?
To: SmokingJoe
They can stuff their EVs. Ford etc. are making a huge mistake. Sell their stock now if you own any of that woke sh!t.

Tell that to yourself,
So far, you have shown ZERO knowledge of the EV market or history.
To: SmokingJoe
Since my earlier post I have learned that the pickups and semis will in fact be produced in Texas
I had seen a report that mentioned using the fantastic Tesla profits in China to create a giga factory in Canada that would produce the Semis.
You bug me about a comment to you know who that seems not to know anything about anything. He dwells in some long past world and will not comprehend any change from the status quo of 75 years ago
