They taxed us to stop tobacco use, they taxed us to stop alcohol consumption, they taxed us to stop personal auto use (gas), they taxed us making it harder to purchase guns and ammo, they taxed us to support do nothing illegals (and to provide the gas to bus them to where they need them), they taxed us to produce revenue to borrow from for their pet projects when they couldn’t tax for them...all in the name of taking care of us cause they love us, the good little children.
