BEIJING, August 17. /TASS/. China’s People’s Liberation Army will participate in the strategic command and staff exercise Vostok-2022 in Russia on August 30 - September 5, the Chinese Defense Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

"In accordance with the annual plan for cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries and the bilateral agreements the PLA will soon delegate and send part of its forces to Russia for participation in the Vostok-2022 exercise," the statement reads. The exercise will contribute to "friendly cooperation among the armed forces of all countries, as well as to increasing the level of strategic interaction by all parties and strengthen the ability to respond to various security threats."

Such a surprising development. The dipsh!ts in the Pentagon might want to consider the Chinese Russian interior lines of communication as they blunder into this two front world cold/hot war.

Sounds like NATO wasn’t invited. I wonder why? Perhaps the ‘brilliance’ of our leaders?

In the long view, the dragon has fixed its eyes on the bear’s lair in Siberia.

Russia is not to concern with the way the Ukraine war is going if they have manpower and money to have the military Vostok Exercise. This is not a small exercise.

Vostok is a region that includes the Sea of Japan. Just to the Northeast of China.

Is Russia really losing the Ukraine war?

The US needs to watch this closely.

As bad as the Russian Army appears to be, the Chinese will be carrying the heavy loads in this exercise.

—”In the long view, the dragon has fixed its eyes on the bear’s lair in Siberia.”

And I saw an article that said the Chinese were invading with suitcases. Moving in and setting up shop.

Looking at the “Belt and Road”; the same story.

Russia’s new best buddy is more than happy to drain them of natural resources at a deep discount. Same for the USA too.

Will the Chinese join the Russians at the Fulda Gap???
Possible, but not probable.

—”Is Russia really losing the Ukraine war?”

Even if Putin completes his Holodomor II, there will be no winners.

The Chinese will purchase anything Russian they find useful at a deep discount.
The Russian Federation will fracture.
The Chinese will denazify some of their border areas perhaps paying a small finder’s fee. Without going hot.

And Mother Russia weeps.

I fully expect Xi to play the role we’re playing in Ukraine. If you can justify our coming arming of the Finnish Russian frontier, Xi can justify a couple brigades of Russian driven Chinese tanks to counter. Incredibly stupid on our part to fall into the Ukrainian quagmire. It’s Xi’s dream come true.

Wow the Putin jackasses actually spin the Russian Chinese alliance into a criticism of American policy.

This is Xi’s dream come true. He now has a nuclear armed client state that has been embroiled in war of attrition with your only existential threat half a world away. Xi can trade Putin arms for oil long enough to further bankrupt you, me, all our grandchildren. Brilliantly done.

Fulda Gap? No, China didn’t join the Warsaw Pact. You can fully expect to see Chinese tanks forming the new Russian armored divisions soon to be sitting on the formerly demilitarized Finnish Russian border. How many Chinese tanks will all that “sanctioned” Russian oil buy?

That American policy IS the reason you have the Russian Chinese Alliance. Keep on braying, it’s entertaining.
