If the front-runner doesn’t have that percentage of the vote, the candidate with the fewest votes that round drops off the ballot, and those who ranked that candidate first will have their votes go to their second choice.
The process continues until a candidate has more than 50 percent of the vote. Until the voter is disenfranchised from his true choice in a runoff. This is basically the incumbent protection act.

Based on these results she is in a very strong position. She will only need 6% of the voters to select her as the second choice in the general election if she holds the level of support she has in this primary.
