In the primary, there’s no Rank Choice.
One vote only.
So the primaries really became maeningless
They only established who the poke sitter is

Jazmine Ulloa, NY Slimes:
“At Mary Peltola’s election night watch party at an Anchorage brewery, Peltola tells me that Sarah Palin texted her this morning to wish her well and warn her it was cold outside. The two have shared a warm relationship throughout the campaign.”

The top FOUR -- not just the top TWO -- advance to November, where Murkowski will obviously reap all of the second-choice votes from the Democrat once Rigged Choice Voting kicks in after no candidate gets 50% on the first ballot. And that will very likely be enough to put her over the top.
Damn, this is confusing! And obviously infuriating.
Wasn't Murkowski herself one of the RINOs who supported (funded?) Rigged Choice Voting in Alaska?

I heard someone on Real America’s Voice say that it was Murkowski or her attorney that put this system/scheme on the ballot. It was, as you say, “invented just to save her”. That's what I've heard as well, but unfortunately I don't remember where I heard it, nor do I have a source to prove it. Wouldn't surprise me at all though.
Anyone know?

We need to go back to closed primaries, where you have one person voting in person for another person of their party on election day (although as in the past, accommodations can be made for people who are home-bound, traveling or for some other legitimate reason can’t make it on election day). Even a couple of days of early IN-PERSON voting would be okay. But no open primaries, ranked choice, mail-ins for all, etc.
AMEN to that. And every voter needs to show a valid ID before they can vote. Like many other countries in the world (ie France).
