I’m confused about the thalidomide issue. I thought there was one doctor on the FDA panel that refused to give approval. It was her first week of employment with them and her very first case. So that sounds like it never actually got approval?
And yet it was used here, there were plenty of babies damaged. No I remember it was already approved in Europe and had just been approved in canada. So this lady was pretty spunky. Too bad we didn’t have any like her today working at the fda.
